New Account - Can't use the same name?

I am migrating from an old ERP system and I am trying to keep the chart of accounts the same ... the old system allowed for the same names for different accounts...

Even though the accounts have unique numbers, NetSuite will not allow for the same name???? is this a "feature" that can be disabled or a requirement...
