Crediting out wire transfer fees

I'm trying to close out an Invoice that has an open balance of $25 (the amount of the wire transfer fee from the bank).  I would prefer not to use the discount field on the payment page.  Is there any way to create a credit memo for $25 without making a line item for misc. or transfer fee?  We would rather not have that accessible to the sales team.
