Having custom field in junction record item and vendor

Hi,

I have a case where I have to create a custom field in junction record item and vendor.

For example I have inventory item "A". Item "A" has 3 vendor "X" , "Y" and "Z".

I want to add custom field called certificate.

So I want this field to show for item "A", vendor "X" has the certificate, vendor "Y" has the certificate and vendor "Z" don't have.

Does anyone have suggestion how to accomodate this?
