Fixed Asset Module Depreciation

For those using the Fixed Asset Module, without any other supporting backup (eg, excel), how are you confident that the module is depreciating the correct amounts? In excel, i have formulas to check for correct depreciation amounts, and NBV, to ensure i'm not over/under depreciating. But with the module, you can't tell, if by chance, a mistake was made.

Anyone have any input on this?
