How to hide item data

I am looking for a way to hide inventory location from certain user roles. I have not been able to locate any information about this. We have multiple stocking locations but I don't want that visible to all roles. I just want to have a total quality on hand to show up on the item record is there a way to do that. Additionally I want to hide the purchase price from certain roles. Does anyone know if that is possible?
