Allowance for Doubtful Accounts
We want to set up an "Allowance for Doubtful Accounts" in Netsuite. This is a contra-asset account and should be listed on the charts of accounts under Accounts Receivable. The account number I used will determine that.
My question, however, is should I select the "Other current assets" type for the account or should I list it as a sub-account of Accounts Receivable since it is related to it?
