G/L account Journal View, starting balance issue

in Accounting / ERP

We've had a strange issue crop up with one of our G/L accounts - when you pull up the account in the journal view and view a date range, the starting balance as of the first day in the date range is not included.  I have checked other G/L accounts and they appear to work fine.  Has anyone else seen this before?
