GL consolidated not balance

Hi,

We have a situation when we run GL consolidated report, the debit is not equal to credit. However, if we run the GL in each entity in local currency for the same period separately, there is no problem.
We are certain the reason is the exchange rates used for different accounts (ie. accounts receivable is using spot rate and revenues is using averate rate).
Is this what is happening? Has anyone come across this before?
