Custom Quote Form - Set Focus to first field

in Accounting / ERP

We have customized the Quote Transaction Form, including moving the Customer Field to a separate tab (when have a different "customer" field enabled only on this form that filters the list of customers).  However, when you try to create a new quote, the Coupon Code field is the first field that has focus set to it.  How can I get the newly created Customer field to be the first field the user needs to fill in?
