Crediting a Fixed Asset

Hello,

I have a query regarding fixed assets. We purchased a couple of laptops last month, and added them to the fixed asset register. This month, 2 of the laptops were returned to the vendor, a credit note issued, and 2 slightly different laptops were brought (costing slightly more than the originals). Is there any way to credit the original laptop purchase within the FAM, and then re-enter the new purchase? Not sure of the best way to deal with this, so any help would be welcome!
