Tracking customer services outside of projects

[FONT=Calibri]I am a recent Netsuite user and have a question regarding tracking customer services. Company policy stipulates no projects are to be set up for services under $5k. There are customers who are required to pre-pay a percentage of quoted services. Does Netsuite have the functionality of tracking deposits/services on “mini-projects” outside of setting up a project?[/FONT]
