Tax Form 1099 - Reporting to the IRS electronically through their FIRE system (U.S.)

Does anyone here use NetSuite for their 1099 reporting? If so, what has been your experience? Do you also use it to create the flat file that is electronically transmitted to the IRS?

We would like to use a vendor for this purpose, but our experience has been such that our data security requirements are cost prohibitive for them so far. Until we find one, I wanted to see what the capabilities in NetSuite are like for this.

Alternatively, are there any financial services companies that you work for that use a vendor for this purpose which you would recommend?
