Apply Credit Memo to Sales Orde
Anyone know the best way to apply or link a credit memo to a Sales Order?
For example, a customer has a Sales Order for $100.
We want to ship the Sales Order when the total deposits + credits = $100
Customer may have a Credit Memo for $50, and a cash deposit for $50.
I want to link that credit memo to the Sales Order for two reasons
1) I am building a workflow to mark all Sales Orders that have sufficient deposits/credits to a “ready to ship” status, probably using a scheduled saved search.
2) I want the deposits/credits to be automatically applied when the sales order is turned into an invoice.
