Changing Fiscal Calendar with ARM?

Gurus,
We are in the process of converting Calendar Year to Fiscal Calendar and there are quite a few answers regarding the same both here as well as SuiteAnswers, so we are okay and will conduct some testing in Sandbox.
My question is how does this impact the Revenue Recognition? Any Gotchas!? What happens to the existing RA plans (Actual and Forecast) as well as the completed ones?

Please let me know as I am not able to find articles regarding the same. Any pointers is highly appreciated.
