3 Way Match - partial receipt not supported

in Accounting / ERP

Has anyone figured out a work around to ensure PO's that are partially received are not not paid in full if the Vendor Bill received is for the full amount?  Suite Answers 40172 says this is not supported, yet this is critical to us being able to deploy this functionality.
