Secondary Book not available when creating an amortization template

in Accounting / ERP

I need to create amortization templates that will create journal entries in our secondary accounting book.  When I go to create a new amortization template there is not an option to choose and accounting book.
Does anyone know if this is a permission thing or how I can add the secondary book to the amortization process?
