Average run time for CSV Item updates

Hey all,

Are there any published numbers on the time it will take a CSV upload to run, or any guides on how to speed up CSV imports?

I am running an upload on approximately 650 items. I have two fields - internal id (as the reference key), and display name/code (the field being updated).

So far the csv is at 8% and it has been running for 1 hour. 8% of 650 is 52. So it has taken netsuite about 69secs per item update so far!

I will post the total time it takes to complete the import. Hopefully there is just some up-front processing that is done.
