Importing Item Groups for Sales Orders

edited Dec 3, 2019 1:13PM in Account Administration 1 comment

Hello All-

Is there any way to successfully mass import Item Group type items to create sales orders?  I am a veteran at importing but this is the first time using item groups and they all error out.

I used Item Groups because I need to consolidate multiple products items on one line of my invoices as a package but need that one line to reflect to multiple item GL accounts.  When I hand key these in, they work perfectly... but I need to create 500+ sales orders with these item groups so I would rather import than hand enter.

I can successfully import the multiple items without the item group but I need these consolidated on one summary line on the invoice and importing them independently leaves them all printing on multiple lines... which is not acceptable.

Howdy, Stranger!
