Cannot change Imported Record from Pending approval to approved

I have imported some journal entries using Celigo integrator IO.
The journal entries are sitting in a pending approval status, when I try to approve them I am receiving the following message :

"The amounts in the journal entry must balance" I know that they balance because I would not have been able to import an unbalanced transaction and when I export the GL detail for the entry it shows that it balances.

Has anyone else experienced this?
