Restrict role from viewing cases from a different location than their own

Anyone have any idea on how to allow a role to view only cases from their own location? If not it possible to restrict cases based on any segment or a custom segment? The form has a custom field drawing from locations list.

The role is currently restricted by location but it does not work for cases. I have tried restricting their search view for cases to a search showing "mine and subordinates" but that is not an option either since it is a custom field? I need to lock these down, struggling with how to do it. Any help is appreciated!
