How to Restrict a Sales Role from creating a Quote in Transactions but can create Quote through Cust

Hi,

I hope you guys can help.

I need to restrict a custom Sales Role from creating a Quote/Estimate through Transactions.
But this same role can create a Quote/Estimate through Customer.

How to restrict? I've set View in Permissions for Estimate but both Transactions>Estimate and Customer>New Estimate have been restricted.
Would really appreciate your inputs.
