Printing Checks

We've been having problems with the formatting of our checks.  Today I printed a batch of 35 checks from A/P, and the first 15 checks printed in the 10 pt. font we have selected in Preferences.  The last 20 checks printed in a much smaller font.  I've had the same thing happen when printing payroll checks.  Some of the checks (all in one batch) printed in the font we selected, and some of them printed in a smaller font.

Is this a NetSuite problem, or could it be our printer?
