Checks to Print Reminder

Yesterday four old checks that had already be run weeks ago showed up in the checks to print reminder.  Where they came from I don't know and how to remove them I don't know.  It's a total mystery to me.
Anyone had this happen before? I can't find the queue where these items are sitting so I can remove them.
