Why can you edit approved journal entries?!

Currently, we only have 2 people set up to approve journal entries.  However, all of our accounting staff can edit journal entries that have been approved!  This defeats the purpose of having the control that someone approves the entry if someone can go in and change it after it's approved.

Does anyone know how to set the role so that you cannot edit approved entries?! 

If not, NetSuite needs an enhancement asap!
