Depts and amortization or rev recs

edited Dec 23, 2019 10:59PM in Accounting / ERP

We do not use departments with sales or cost of sales transactions.  I posted our C/S amort and rev rec entries not realizing that some of the transactions were tied to departments.

I am not allowed to change the Dept part of the GL entry.

I deleted the amort entries and now they are in the queie again and unposted.

But now it still will not let me edit the dept on the original transaction.  I can edit, but when I save, it just reverts back to the same.  All I want is to remove the dept from the transaction and repost the entries.

Howdy, Stranger!
