Adding Image to Invoice Form

Does anyone know if you can add an additional image(besides the logo) to the pdf invoice form. I'm customizing the PDF form by adding a customize element.  From there I added the URL link, the picture saved in the images folder to the customize element.  Still the image is not comming up and the new element is showing the text. Any workarounds?
