AvaTax Taxes and Printed Invoices & Tax Reports
Hi all,
We use the AvaTax bundle for calculating our taxes on our invoices. We have an issue with printed invoice and NetSuite's standard tax reports. When we print an invoice for an exempt customer, the tax amount ($0) is correct, but the line items show up with the taxable column = "Yes".
Also, since the taxable check boxes on the invoice are checked at the header and the line level, all of our sales show up in our NetSuite tax reports as taxable, even when they are exempt and non-taxable. 95% of our sales are to tax exempt resellers, so this is obviously an issue for us.
