Sales Tax Code Descriptions - what are they!?!?

edited Dec 23, 2019 10:53PM in Accounting / ERP 2 comments

Has anyone uncovered an easy way to see what district/city/county specific NS Tax Item codes represent?

as an example...

Tax Name  TX_BQHD
Display Name/Code
Description  Transit
Rate  0.50
Tax Type  Transit

yet on the TX website...

Transit Authority
3227999 AUSTIN MTA .01000
3178998 CORPUS CHRISTI MTA .00500
3057994 DALLAS MTA .01000
3061774 DENTON CTA .00500
3071889 EL PASO CTD .00500
3999986 ERROR TAX MTA .00250
3220996 FORT WORTH MTA .00500
3101990 HOUSTON MTA .01000
3240885 LAREDO CTD .00250
3015664 SAN ANTONIO ATD .00250
3015995 SAN ANTONIO MTA  .00500
3999995  UNSPECIFIED MTA  .00250

it has to be one of the red ones, but which does BQHD stand for?  i guess i can look at the sale, figure out where it is located, then go to the site and see what the tax rate is for that location...but that gets difficult when you have multiple sales in different locations and a report that breaks it out by "jurisdiction".

Howdy, Stranger!
