Invoice for Billable Expenses

We use the Invoice Billable customers feature to create invoices for billable expenses.  I've got an invoice form customized so that they print well for our purposes.  However I cannot find a way to make the invoice lines visible in our web browser when viewing the completed invoice internally.  Am I missing something?
