Purchase Request Approval Date Search

Hello, I am attempting to create a saved search that will list open POs and the date they were approved. Im attempting to retrieve the approval date using the Formula Date field and some logic around System Notes New Value, however I cannot get it to work. Has anyone built a search that can pull the approval date? Or is there another option?
