Cash Sales to hit A/R
Hi,
We are a distribution company that ships product out of a warehouse generally to other companies. However we also run a website where we record sales from end-users and they pay with credit cards.
These credit card transactions are processed as cash sales at the time of shipment. We noticed that these transactions do not get posted to accounts receivable and do not show up on statements.
Is there any way to get the cash sale to show a posting to a statement? We've considered going to invoicing all orders and applying payments, but this removes the preauthorization procedure.
