Terms Issue

edited Dec 23, 2019 10:47PM in Accounting / ERP 2 comments

I need to create net monthly terms, so any invoices raised in January should have a due date of 1st March, however NetSuite doesn't seem to allow for this because of the inconsistent days in a month from 28, 30 and 31.

Example:

Day of Net Month Due = 1
Due Next Month If Within Days = 31

If I create an invoice between 1st January and 28th January, the due date correctly is 1st March.

If I create an invoice between the 29th January and 31st January, the due date becomes the 1st April, because there are only 28 days in February.

A workflow can of course be created where by if these three dates are selected, and the terms are net monthly, the due date is 1st March, but that shouldn't have to be the case.

Howdy, Stranger!
