Having trouble enabling second AR account

We need to post two types of invoices into separate A/R accounts, but on the Account tab on the Create Invoice page, the drop down for Account is greyed out. I tried removing the Default AR account under Setup/Accounting Preferences, but that made no difference. Help! Thanks.
