Importing Amortization Schedules w/out AP/AR
Is anyone aware of options to set up amortization schedules without entering vendor bills or journal entries assuming we've already imported historical data and only need to amortize prepaid expenses going forward from a point in time.
For example, if we have a 12-month prepaid starting on 6/1/16 and we have already imported our historical data/balances via JEs, and want to use the amortization schedules to record expenses beginning on 1/1/17 - is there another way of importing/setting up the prepaid amortization schedules without entering a vendor bill or journal entry since those transactions have already been recorded in the past?
