Invoicing Error Using Certain Form

We get the following error when trying to invoice a serialized inventory item:

"Please configure the inventory detail for OUR_ITEM_NUMBER"

It seems to only appear when we are using one invoice form as opposed to another. Of course, we are clicking on the icon to configure the inventory detail the same way on both forms.
