Checking the amount field
OK, maybe I dropped acid or something but I just noticed something very strange.
In a validate line script, I was checking that a calculated custom field was correct after the line was edited.
When I checked the value of the amount column.  It did not change until the line was accepted.  So at validate line the value returned was the old value.  This was true whether amount was manually changed or changed as a result of a change in quantity or rate.
That seems wrong.  Anyone seen this?
