Get Old Record
I'm working on one of my first server scripts and I'm having a problem trying to figure how to go about implementing the tools included with NS JavaScript objects.
I need to create a script that will automatically create a phone call record when a user modifies certain fields in a customer record. I'm using the nlapiGetOldRecord and the nlapiGetNewRecord to determine what the field values were and what they are after the save. The problem I'm facing is the nlapiGetOldRecord is always returning NULL.
I'm not sure if this is the best way to accomplish what I want. If anyone has any suggestions or could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
