Custom Code to Set "Ship Date" -- Help!!
Hi All,
we currently have a custom javascript written that is attached to our online sales order - Cash Sale form for our web store that looks at a custom item option called "Requested Delivery Date" a customer selects.
When the script runs it figures out what the correct "Ship Date" needs to be based on "Requested Delivery Date" and the method of shipping chosen and sets it in "Ship Date" field.
This is all well and good except that it only runs once we have recieved the order and "Edit" it which triggers the script to run.
My question is, does anyone know if something like this is possible to on the web store end without having to edit the sales order internally once it has been recieved???
