'name' / 'internalid' not returning NULL in After Submit Function script
Help! Help!!
I have a serverscript deployed on a custom record, which sends out an email upon new record creation. I have the autonumbering enabled on this custom record and one of the fields that need to be emailed is this record number.
I tried using 'name', 'id', 'internalid' and none of them return the custom record # - I get either Null or To be Generated.
My code:
emailtext = 'Claim No : ' + newRecord.getFieldValue('name') + '\n';
My script is an After Submit Function and I assumed the internal Id of the record would be created before my email is sent out. Any idea??
