Automated credit card billing

I have been searching everywhere for any indication that I can use a scheduled script to automate a credit card charge.

Is this possible through a scheduled server script?


I have tried using a sales order to cash sale transform, but it does not actually charge the card. It only marks it approved. What is worse is that I can't even go back and charge it. The Charge Card checkbox only shows when you create the cash sale and disappears when you save it the first time.

Has anyone else tried to do this?
