Comparing a custom date field to date()
In the statement below,
vcustitem_vendor_restock is a date that we expect our vendor to have more stock.
The statement is always false.
This is what is written to the execution log:
Vendor_Restock=29-Oct-2007
Today=Tue Aug 14 2007 16:18:08 GMT-0700 (PDT)
If the date is in the future, I want to one thing, if it is in the past I want to do another.
var vcustitem_vendor_restock = new Date
vcustitem_vendor_restock = newItem.getFieldValue('custitem_vendor_restock')
if (vcustitem_vendor_restock >= Date())
Make me think I need to adjust one or the other.
Would anyone know the proper way to test dates and datetimes?
