Copy Timesheet Entry

We have a request to be able to populate a current timesheet based on the previous day's timesheet. Basically, the user has a 'Copy Previous Day' button and we look it the previous day's details and dump them into the current sheet.

Is there a mechanism within client script to look into timesheet history?
