Submitting Note to Lead Record
Hi all,
I've been looking at this piece of code for too long and maybe I've missed something small.
I want to attach a note to a lead record upon submission, but I keep getting the error:
Code: INVALID_KEY_OR_REF
Details: Invalid record reference key xxx.
Here's the code I'm using:
var newLeadID = nlapiSubmitRecord(newLead, true, true); var newNote = nlapiCreateRecord('note'); newNote.setFieldValue('recordtype',newLead.getRecordType()); newNote.setFieldValue('record',newLeadID); newNote.setFieldValue('title','message'); newNote.setFieldValue('note','testing notes'); var newNoteID = nlapiSubmitRecord(newNote,true,true);Any hints anyone? The submission of the lead record works perfectly, however when trying to add a note, it fails.
