Enhancement Request: Add Server-side Runtime flag
Is there any definitive way to have a script know whether it is running in server-side routine versus a client-side routine?
I have some scripts which are being used in both scenarios (for consistency and maintenance), but there are times I need to handle an error or some other issue either with an alert (if I'm doing something that can display errors) or log to the execution log (if I can't display the error).
Right now I am using
if (typeof(nlapiLogExecution)=='undefined')but if you ever make this available client-side, this no longer works obviously.
Would be nice if there was some flag that told us what condition the script is running under (e.g. client, server, ...), unless there is another solid way to do it.
