RTF Field on a Transaction form

I have a custom record field of type RTF - which I draw a table and put some values in - looks great on the screen but I want to print is on a transaction form as well - I have put an rft field on the transaction and sourced it from the custom record - and that works great - but the only way I can see to print it is as a body field and that does NOT work - it strips the formatting out.. Can anyone advise me how to do this ?
