Adding a Contact to a Partner/Customer Record

Hi all,

It would appear that from my research that you can only have one contact record per Partner/Customer, if working with suitescript. I'm hoping this is not true and you can add to a 'ContactList' just like you can in the UI.

The code I'm using to add a single contact record replaces the entire list for the Customer/Partner each time I run it. 

 contactRecord.setFieldValue('email',emailaddr);  contactRecord.setFieldValue('phone',phonenum);  contactRecord.setFieldValue('company', customerInternalID);  var newContactID = nlapiSubmitRecord(contactRecord,true);


This of course only works when the customer record has been successfully created. Does anyone know how I can use suitescript to 'add' another contact record to the customer/partner record?
