How to use GET or POST Method in Suitelets
Hi,
I need to pass parameters to a Suitelet in the query string. But the parameter length may exceed 255 characters as the data to be passed is quite long.
I have set the Event Type property to "GET Request".
I tried to pass longer value and its displaying the data even of a longer length(596 chars).
param_fields = request.getParameter("fields");
response.write (param_fields).
As per the normal definition the GET method for the request should be used when we are passing the data of shorter length (less than 255 chars).
My question:
- If this is true then why i am able to see the full data?
