Simple Script Request

Hello,

I would like to create a simple script to automate a workflow task. The requirement is to generate an email to several people based on the creation of a new employee record. Unfortunately, we didn't cover scripting during our implementation, but now that we are using NetSuite daily, we are seeing the value of this type of automation. Any help would be appreciated.
