Can't create custom record in Suitelet

Hello,

I have a suitelet in which I am trying to create a custom record. I've done the same thing before with leads so the general case works.

Is anyone out there able to call nlapiCreateRecord with a custom record id? When I try calling it I just get an "Unexpected Error".

If you have it working do you call it nlapiCreateRecord("customrecordXXX") where XXX is your custom record id? or do you need something else? If you can do this successfully what are the permissions/settings on the script or deployment that you used for a working script?


I've filed a bug report but deadlines loom.
