nlapiGetFieldValue() with Multiple Select and List/Record
Hi All,
I have a multiple select field and a list/record field. The source for both the list is the 'Item'. If the user selects some three items from the Multiple select field, he should not be allowed to select those items in the list/record.
When I try to get the value of multiple select field, it is appending the internal id of all the items which has been selected and I am not able to compare it with what I have selected in the list/record.
function displayValues(type,name) { if(name == 'custrecord_level_2_item')//List/Record { var level2_item = nlapiGetFieldValue('custrecord_level_2_item'); var related_items_value = nlapiGetFieldValue('custrecord_level_1_item');//Multiple Select alert(related_items_value);//appending the internal ids and giving for(var i=0; i<related_items_value.length ; i++) { if(related_items_value[i] == level2_item) { alert("selected");//giving some alert messages to the user } } } 0
